Fairmont Mayakoba is far from the “wedding factories” that you’ll see at other resorts. They only host 20 weddings per year, and they give each wedding their full attention. There are a wide variety of wedding venue options, whether you dream of a beach wedding or a tropical garden, they have something for everyone wanting an upscale, unique wedding experience.

Wedding Venue Locations at Fairmont Mayakoba:

  • The Beach Venue. Fairmont Mayakoba’s most popular ceremony location. Located on the white sand, with a turquoise sea background.

    • Can be used for ceremonies, cocktail hours or receptions.

    • Receptions can go longer into the night here, due to it’s distance from rooms.

    • Maximum 390 guests.

  • Isla Lawn. Fairmont’s second most popular ceremony location on the beautiful green lawn, surrounded by lush tropical plants and trees.

    • Can be used for ceremonies, cocktail hours or receptions.

    • Receptions need to end earlier due to the proximity of rooms.

    • Maximum 400 Guests.

  • Terraza Lawn. This is another garden lawn location near the resort’s ballrooms. There is a small pool area you can put plexiglass on, for an “overwater” ceremony and have a jungle background.

    • Can be used for ceremonies, cocktail hours or receptions.

    • Receptions can go longer into the night here, due to it’s distance from rooms.

    • Hallways facing the Terraza lawn are also a “Plan B” rain option.

    • Maximum 80 Guests.

  • Adults Pool. A beautiful deck around the adults pool overlooking the nature lagoon.

    • Can be used for ceremonies, cocktail hours or receptions.

    • Maximum 90 Guests.

  • El Pueblito. The beautiful “town square” located on the Mayakoba complex that is a replicate of an old Mexican town square with colonial architecture. You can get married inside the Catholic Chapel or in front of it on the steps.

    • Available for ceremonies, cocktail hour and receptions.

    • Maximum 400 Guests (outside the chapel) and 100 maximum guests for weddings inside the chapel.

    • Receptions can go late into the night.

    • There is an additional $7500usd fee (as of 2023) to privatize this venue for your wedding.

  • Mimosa and Riviera Ballroom. These are the indoor, air-conditioned ballroom options, that also server as the “Plan b” rain option for wedding receptions.

    • Available for ceremonies, cocktail hour and receptions.

    • Maximum 380 guests each ballroom.

    • Receptions can go late into the night.

When it comes to dining, Fairmont Mayakoba doesn’t hold back on indulgence. The all-inclusive package includes unlimited dining and premium beverages across several restaurants and bars, including El Puerto, HIX Bar Lounge and Terrace, Ki’ Beach Bar, Bamboo, and El Patio. This resort offers 3 meal plan packages, the all-inclusive, the European (breakfast only) or a la carte.

Guests can enjoy beach service, a minibar stocked with a variety of refreshments in the comfort of their room, and the convenience of in-room dining options.

For families attending, children under five can dine for free, and there is a special promotional all-inclusive plan for children aged six to seventeen. This thoughtful approach ensures that every guest, regardless of age, enjoys a gastronomic experience that is both inclusive and exquisite.
